Skillset wanted to create a community resource for the film schools that are part of the Skillset Screen Academy Network, where students and faculty can make contacts, showcase their work, get feedback, find events, get help, find crew, access resources, communicate directly and be part of the wider network of schools that are otherwise divided geographically. As the bulk of the content was to be user generated (UGC), we needed to create something that was easy-to-use and engaging, whilst also providing complex and interactive functionality for site users and administrators.
A bespoke, database driven, multi media extranet, with a mix of social media features and dynamic in-page editing for personalisation of in-depth user profile pages and all updateable and uploadable content. The administrative interface allows the website administrator total control over the website’s content, user accounts and privileges, using an in-page editing tool.
A beautiful, intelligent, credible, creative, informative and fun application that is completely intuitive, allowing site visitors to easily navigate the various sections of the website and share knowledge and experiences with others within the community in a safe and secure environment.
